We didn't know much about Reverie but had just enough time to check it out before a game at Danbury Ice. When you turn off the road at the first brewery sign you look ahead and think, man this place looks like a dump. Fortunately Reverie is nestled nicely well behind the first run-down building. The brewery has great appeal, modern looking and tons of outdoor seating (so much we forgot to take pictures of it so we grabbed them from their website). We visited on a sunday as they were opening and had an awesome server who was super energetic and enthusiastic. We sat inside next to the large open garage door and this inside seating allowed us to partake in flights (difficult to do in covid times). None of the samples were a disappointment. Banana Stand and Weekend at BBs were very enjoyable. We were also really impressed with the stouts. We've had so many great DIPAs lately that unfortunately Double Dipper and OO, A Kangaroo seemed more average...still enjoyable. If you have any reservations to visiting a brewery during covid times, this should be the place to go. They are setup well to maintain a very clean, safe environment with lots of space to ensure social distancing. It seems they routinely have a food truck onsite and are currently doing a growler exchange for beers on draft. Reverie also has many more beers available in cans to go....we had to get 4 packs of Flexural Strength at 9.1%, labeled as "Wee Heavy w/ Peanut Butter" just seemed way too interesting to pass up.
Bottom Line: This place should be a top choice for any group looking for a nice variety of good beers to enjoy in a very safe comfortable environment.
