Are we really in a brewery? Is the question we asked ourselves 30 minutes in to our stay. We were the first ones in on a rainy Sunday (thanks for opening at 11am which is an hour earlier than most breweries). No part of Redemption Rock feels like a brewery except for beer being available. You really think you've walked in to an artsy coffee bar. The beer signage is minimal while conversely the swag section seems a tad extensive for this humble establish. Staff was very cool, laid-back but knowledgeable. A true bummer was NO Flights. So our sampling would be minimal. A bonus was they had apple cinnamon doughnuts and yummy pretzels that look like croissants or mini loafs. We only had a chance to try War Castle (NEIPA), Blackstone Stout and Elfe (Blonde Ale). The beers were above average - nothing exceptional but nothing bad. Would have been nice to test their pumpkin and something else like their Saison but you have know your limits. You can see from the pictures how cool this place is. They had stacks of old school games and we found ourselves staying longer than intended as we got caught up in an unpredictable game of Clue. The mural is fantastic! The bathrooms are the best we've even seen in a brewery. And having an accessible water dispenser is a nice thing for everyone. If you are looking for a low key place to chill with some friends over coffee or beer, this is the place to go.
