BDB Rating - 88
Oddball has no outdoor seating and a limited number of seats inside but the high rating is due to the absolute beer education you will get at this place. The staff is highly knowledgeable and they don't shy away from any style of beer. Very happy to get a flight of all 6 beers they offered on draught. It was quite a list and everything was above average. Suncook is a very good lager, Albino Moose is a straightforward IPA, Nymph Sour was surprisingly enjoyable, Wanderlust BSE fell a little short but we appreciate them admitting they changed how they introduced chocolate to this year's batch and will go back to the previous year's recipe (props for the honesty). The other beer to note was a Grisette (never had one before) but in short it was a style produced to provide a crisp sessionable beer to miners along the Belgium-France boulders. Always learning something during a beer tasting...and this Grisette was pleasant and refreshing.
Overall Oddball may only have 6 beers on draught but much care has gone in to producing each one....definitely quality over quantity. Small tidbits: the drive from Tri-Town is short and very scenic, we were able to score a $10 tshirt and bought a mixed 4pk to go. And check out the last picture to see what you can learn while you return the beer.
