This place is so great it was awarded Brewery of the Month, Feb. ’20.

We had a really good time here. Since being named BOM 2/20 we know a few other hockey families that stopped by and each enjoyed the beer, food and environment. This isn't a massive brewery but if you have a large group the party room (if available...reserve ahead of time) is a life saver. This place has a lot of character which you sense from its coziness and comfort. You can tell Lost Rhino has been around for awhile. Some of the brand new breweries are almost too "sterile"...LR has texture and doesn't hide the fact you are enjoying beer in a working brewery. The chalk work for all the beer signage is some of the best we've seen. The game room between the party room and main tasting area is a nice entertainment space to step away and play a few games with friends (they have ~10 pins, Nintendo system and a few other machines). Our large group tried every beer they offered and probably every other alcoholic offering (wine & cider too). Everything was good and up (no duds). We had Face Plant (flagship IPA) years ago and it is still a solid IPA. Rhino Chasers - Pilsner was the other favorite. We clearly understand why they are offered year round. The next favorite was probably the Dunkel but it is hard to tell after that...our ratings vary more based on personal preference rather than any true difference in quality between varying styles.They are doing some interesting casks which are labeled and located in the party room. We hope we get to try some of these one day. The staff was excellent, knowledgeable and attentive. Bottom Line: This is a great place for small to very large groups (reserve party room). Lost Rhino is a mature brewery with a nice spectrum of food & beer options which are sure to please every patron.
