This place is so great it was awarded Brewery of the Month, March-May ’20.

We had a very enjoyable time at Ground Effect. It is a clean/modern looking place with a relaxed/fun atmosphere. We got in before the weekend rush so we were able to chat with Lindsay who is very knowledgeable about the brewery, beer and the area in general. She set us up with a great flight. (btw, major kudos for having some of the best looking flight boards we've seen - they look awesome and very well crafted) Ground Effect offers a nice spectrum of beers. They don't have 20+ beer options but what they do have is fresh and good to great tasting. We really enjoyed every style. "The Mills" Pills was a crisp, tasty pilsner....you could enjoy these all day long. The Blackberry Sour looks off-putting to most but it seems quite popular. It wasn't too high on the pucker factor so we thought it was well balance and tasty. The Mocha Milkshake Stout fell a little short on the "milkshake" side but as a mocha stout, it was excellent. And the one we liked the most was Felton's Fancy, a 7.7% NE style IPA. The best testimonial was we bought cans to share with others later that weekend.
Bottom Line:
This is a really nice brewery with excellent ownership/staff and a solid beer lineup. If you are in a hockey tournament at New England Sports Center and only have time to visit one brewery - make it Ground Effect.
