We really want to love this place. But the old local saying still seems to be true. The first time you come here is for the beer...if you return its for the food. Flagship beers like Muddy Creek and Medussa are decent but not remarkable. They do have a large variety of beers and their seasonals like Oktoberfest and Headless Horseman (pumpkin) are solid for the styles. We were excited to try Fake News and appreciate the effort but it just can't stand up to most NEIPA's you now find all along the east coast. As for the food, it is excellent. The smokehouse does a great job putting out a quality product. But they may not have a friendly menu for everyone in your group. Very few vegetarian or even non-pork/red meat options. The only chicken item is wings which have a great smokey taste but the skin had too much char and seasoning to the point you can only eat part of it or it overpowers the taste of the meat. A few other points. This place is very spacious. We really like the expansion and the large tables and large bathrooms. Activities like darts look like fun. And the small outdoor seating is probably great on a nice day to take in the comings and goings of the train station. We stopped in on a slow sunday...no TVs for football seemed to related to no people in the brewery. We were disappointed they don't have a flight option but the staff was nice and attentive and let us have a sample of anything we wanted. A big caution is they are CASH ONLY. Few of us carry a lot of cash so this was almost an issue. They do have an ATM ($3 fee). Overall may be great for large groups of hungry non-vegetarians who aren't as particular about their craft beer.
