We visited Brix on a Thursday which was a nice change as it wasn't super busy like on weekends. This allowed us to really take our time with each beer. We've enjoyed Brix over the years and feel they have the best variety of beers for any brewery in and around Hackensack. This week the lineup was filled with DIPAs and TIPAs. Mango Jams and Zesty Jams were tasty but Last Minute Mayhem has that little extra. We're not sure if we get burned out on IPAs, but we always seem to leave with a growler of Porter Authority. After drinking it later, we determined we weren't just done with IPAs for the moment, but PA is an excellent beer. Just a great smooth porter enjoyed any day of the week or year. Brix has a good chill vibe, they don't have a inhouse food option but are cool with you bringing your own or getting delivery...we like the larger picnic tables which make it ok for small groups. Bonus points for growler service. Dragon did a great job thoroughly rinsing our growlers, full poors, rinse off and wipe down the outside of growler and securely taping the caps. They really want their beer to arrive safely and be the next best thing to having it on tap at home. It was!
