You may LOVE this place if you are a BIG fan of sours. 10 out of their 13 beers offered were sours (mostly berliners). Fortunately they do offer samples so you don't have to commit to a full pour. We apologize as they couldn't use the flight boards and since we just sat at individuals chairs in the walkway, we totally forgot to take a picture of the lineup. Our samples were the most colorful to date. We were told Juicy was a favorite and we found that to be ours as well. It has a lot going on with Blackcurrant, Black Cherry, Pomegranate & Blueberry but was the most pleasant. We tried Calm, Cool, Collected (WC IPA) and still aren't sure if it was skewed by the sours but we found it to be average. Looking back we should have purchased 1 full pour of the NE IPA and split it...it wasn't available for samples.
Overall this is a nice clean brewery but probably only worth seeking out if you are a true sour fan. Our recommendation is to purchase some awesome IPA's from Spyglass (located across the street) and when you pick it up, make a pit stop at White Birch.
Final note, we like their logo but still feel they missed an opportunity for some clever artist to align the trees in a subtle manner to say White (we can't help to look for a hidden message...just look at it for yourself).
